Take solace my distraught friends

that in the end

there will be no successor

Once Supreme Leader
of this political bowel movement
gets flushed back into the sewer
his rock solid Hate Coalition
of fake Christians
emasculated misogynists
grifter opportunists
and White Power fascists
will fragment

and commence a glorious 

internal civil war

as they vow for the crown

to be the new King of the Dipshits

These power starved factions

poorly constructed

with bullshit bricks

of hate and mistrust

will collapse

and scurry like rats

back to the shadows

The millions who were duped

will meekly make excuses

and concoct the lamest of alibis

in a desperate attempt

to rationalize away their madness

while the lead sycophants

will be brought to task

for a dose of long overdue justice

Historians will be left

to sort through the rubble

and try and make sense

of these senseless times

We the survivors

of this dark chapter

will construct new guard rails

and pledge to the world

that this madness

will never happen again

But of course it will

because we just can't help ourselves

when it comes to chasing

and embracing

the latest shiny objects
