Sinking realization time
A life saving epiphany
The more I struggle
the deeper I sink
This muck won't loosen it's grip
til I completely let go
and cease being
self counterproductive
Need to possess a little more faith
in my natural self buoyancy
Just kick back and relax
Feel the warm sun on my face
Then float my mired ass
out of this dire place
And next time
when I venture into the jungle
pay attention
to the frickin warning signs
before I self destruct yet again
