To Speak or Not to Speak

 

The impassioned 

free speech defense
of racism and prejudice
has always been
the great litmus test
for us staunch defenders
of the precious First Amendment

Having to always ride
with this fungus slime
forever makes me question
whether we are on the right side
of the clear cut moral divide
between good and evil

Are we enablers of their hatred?

Do we provide the bastards cover

to hide behind our intellectual

historically ineffectual

rationalizations

based on an ancient parchment

of an antiquated concept

that fits not the times

of propaganda saturation

based mass communications?

Maybe these days

we're the useful idiots

being self played

and not they
