This blister on my soul
Exacerbated by friction
Now an agonizing condition
A festering pus filled infection
If the poison gets in my bloodstream
it will surely be the death of me
Amputation is my only option
but is life worth living soullessly?
I ask this question rhetorically
cause so many of us do already
so I guess this extraction
would be like appendix surgery
Removing an appendage
that seemingly
is obsolete these cynical days
