who have been together

are taking a break
from their stormy relationship

Too much tension currently exists

in this complex dynamic

for these strong willed partners

to amicably proceed

Long simmering bitterness

and clashing resentments

have led us to this flash point situation 

Bolt Boy now demands top billing
while his Boomer sidekick
is sick and tired
of always having to follow

her partner's every blast

A desperate Mother Nature

has pleaded with the feuding pair

for therapy mediation

but the unnatural rift

seems to be irreconcilable
