Unsafe Sex

Passion ain't always logical
as my inflamed partner and I
currently doing

the unsafe sex act
pressed hard against
a plate glass window

five stories above ground

One more deep thrust
and that pressure crack

will completely bust
and down we lovers will descend
to splatter on the cold street below
where many a fucking

Humpty Dumpty relationship ends

Forensics will speculate on motive

Was this tragedy a mutual suicide leap?

In retrospect

maybe our fatal plunge 

was an unconscious choice

to end this poorly crafted show

on a high note?

Or perhaps

we were just two stupid

oblivious overheated bodies

who were an accident

waiting to happen
