Taking on all oppressors
seeking to hold his kind down

The tiny ant pushes back
against these powerful forces
of oppression

The tiny ant challenges authority
over the concept of freedom

The tiny ant is now a martyr
for this noble cause

Squished beyond all recognition

Is the dead ant a hero or a fool?

Will his death be a spark

of revolutionary ignition

or another forgotten casualty

of history?

Probably the latter

but that did not matter

to the tiny ant

who was simply tired

of being pushed around
