The Worm Turns

 

After years
of being eaten
by the early birds
the fed up worms
decided to sleep in

The birds were perturbed
by this change to the norm
but they did not want
to deal with the hassle
of adaptation anymore
so they became 
full time lazy ass vegetarians

Now that their natural predators

have changed their life style

the crawler population has exploded

with holes now everywhere

which created whole new problems
