I come not at you today

to assign convenient blame

for the latest catastrophe

I leave that to those

of a gutless fence sitting bent

This critique is meant to be

constructive poetry

You have always proceeded

with a binary

black or white thought process

A zero sum game mentality

which while providing

immediate thought clarity

is more suited to game theory

than our oft murky reality

Still you dwell in absolutes
when nuance is required

Stubbornly refusing to see
the many layers of subtlety
truth resides in

Not very analytical don't you think? 

To compound your latest mess

these battle lines you have drawn

in the shifting sands
to defend your rigid views
will shatter under the stress
of ever changing values

You gotta learn to bend

and adapt my friend

Don't be a dinosaur like the rest
