Noisy Artillery

 

I long ago said
all I wanna say
but I'm gonna keep going anyway

Far past the point
of thought critical mass

I am obsessed
with hearing myself think
sans filters 
of push back consequence

For it's silence

and the attached

clawing self reflections

that cowardly me fears most

The terror of probing ghosts
now freed from the shackles
of the opinion deflections

that offer me protection

from the hazardous path

of contemplating my dark past
