Like a Shakespearean thespian
he takes control of the stage
This is his canvas

of half truths wrapped in sincere promises

fine tuned over time
to lure in the pigeons
and relieve them of coin
But it's a different flock today
Fact checking his every pitch
real time on their hand held devices
Still our hero keeps dancing
Like a fly caught in a web of reality
The more he spins the deeper he sinks
It's just not easy selling

this is a fatal condition
