Post extinction event
the once fertile fields
are today blackened
Scorched into oblivion
in a futile attempt
to burn out the beast
The Earth now wrapped in darkness
as the final tenacious pestilence
ravaged the landscape of Humanity
in a replay event
we were once again
shamefully unprepared for
The Death Virus mutated and adjusted
much better than now defunct us
