Welcome to Déjà Vu

The treadmill domain
where it's all been done before

Where it's all been done before

In this perpetual loopy life
of disconcerting repetition
nothing is fresh anymore

All the stale cards have been played

On a wobbly table today is laid

Reactions roll rote

Seemingly preordained

But there exists an exit door
blocked by the clutter of yesterday
that all needs to be thrown away

Time can be an expressway

if we have the courage
to reboot ourselves
from our comfort zone lethargy
      
A swift kick in the routine
to boost us out of this rut existence
and wipe the smudged slate clean
