Forever Wars

 

Ever since the battle
became one continuous
contiguous
bloody conflict
there has been no respite
from the terror
of unlimited
unmitigated

Total Warfare

Of course

there will be no truce

or peaceful pause

No agreed upon settlement
til one side is completely vanquished
and all remnants of their existence
is plowed under beneath the ashes

of the rubble our brave forces

patriotically caused

to bring the bastards down

Then commences the Great Celebration

until the next military annihilation

of a vile enemy yet to be determined
