thinking I was well grounded
when a lightning bolt
tossed down by a bored Lord
struck my exposed

oblivious ass
with a high flash
voltage shock

to all systems

God Damn that was uncalled for
though I do now possess
a healthy respect
for the massive power 
of unexpected randomness
