How long shall we stay
now that the spell has waned
on the Magic Kingdom
where spectacular enchantment
was once upon a time
celebrated as a cottage industry?

Somewhere along the way

the quaint innocence

of It's A Small World After All

mutated into an overpriced shopping mall

We can blame
the greedy wizards
for us today rolling so cynically

though maybe Mickey
the fault is not in our stars
but in ourselves
