for dramatic effect

seek to spotlight deflect
away from a reality

far more scarier
happening in the shadows stage right

The paid players on stage
are performative characters

doing roles they were assigned

by our crack propaganda team

More bark than bite

The entertainment for tonight

Tomorrow will bring

an all new contrived disaster crisis

as today's fireworks fizzle out
