Plea For Mercy

 

You cut me to the core
when you malign my verses

They lack polish obviously
and often stray
from any semblance
of coherent thought
but gimme a break
it's my frickin therapy !!

Tis the only vent outlet I have
cause booze makes me puke
and mood meds
are just too damn expensive

So hate away
on my amateur poetry
but I would greatly appreciate it
if you could show some compassion
and do your literary critiques silently
