Off Lining

 

In my current non connectivity

static state of locked out panic 

I seek remedy for my ignorance

by interfacing with enlightened

tech gurus of the 21st Century

Scrolling through

the assistance thickets

I click on a support link

that may be my restoration ticket

to connectivity happiness

Surely one of these mystical 

modern day Brahmins

can restore my connection

to cyber civilization

After hours of futility

failing to communicate

with these mystics

due to my lack of fluency

in the new computer terminology 

off the grid me

had an epiphany

I DON'T NEED THIS

I was so much happier

in the slower paced

the primitive pre-techy era

Now I live life unplugged

off the invasive grid

Perhaps someday

you will go overload too

and come join me

for a cup of coffee

and human conversation

at that quaint cafe

down by the lake
