or a whiff of human decency
releases a fart
silent but deadly
in a crowded elevator

then departs
the scene of the hate crime
Leaving behind
the stench of shit
as a thoughtless present
His foul methane gift
to the gagging
watery eyed populace
who now must breathe
through their mouths
for the rest of the trip
