Feed Bag Rap

 

The starving man
can be fed
hard stale bread
and it will be
ravenously consumed gratefully

Show a woman
with low self esteem
a steady diet of compliments
and she will eat it up gladly
but what
feast for the soul
could possibly satisfy
insatiably sinful me?

For I have always been
spiritually anorexic
when it comes to feeding
my emaciated spirit
