Forgot to take out the trash

Lost track of the days

Time mismanagement

an increasingly bad habit

of this life in retirement

My lovely wife of course

jumped at the chance

to take her old boy to task

for my erroneous ways

But much like our president
I tap danced

the dodge responsibility path
and blamed my senior moment gaffe
on fellow dinosaur Joe Biden

What my desperate deflection

lacked in rational credibility

it more than made up for

in current events

connective creativity

Though my pissed Mrs did not think so
