I have NOT read any good books lately
(or any mediocre ones either)...

My favorite author is me
though I ain't on any best sellers list

and never will be...

So go ahead and condescend
about my appalling lack of literacy...

Mount your soapbox of hypocrisy

and commence your best eye roll...

I won't try and make you understand
my microwave attention span
forged in the wifi accessible cauldrons
that frame the narrow database margins
of our speed addicted
time squeezing culture...
