My corrupted culture
takes it's dosage of perspective
not from philosopher poets
or sage writers of prose.. 

We turn for the wisdom we need
from the politician entertainers
of Hollywood DC..

Those who roll on the TV stage..

These slick prophets of the cyber age..

Now comes the real irony
for when it comes to reality
these influencers on whom we rely
know far less about life than we..

Our society elevate their views
cause we are now too damn lazy
to think for ourselves
