circling so elegantly
above my soon to be
rotting carcass
Tis a death scene so serene
here in the desert
that's all horizon
and no substance
Or is this simply my just desserts
served before the main course?
I love these scavenger creatures
of natural recycling efficiencies
even though their imminent destiny
involves feasting on me
