If anyone reading this
should ever find me
wandering aimlessly
in this fog of indifference
take my clammy hand
and drop me off
at the nearest lost and found
Do not be deterred
by my temporary ingratitude
Tis just a selfish phase
Someday
when I am
re engaged with the world
I will find you
and shower proper appreciation
in your direction
Perhaps I can even
return the salvage favor
next time you drift
