If anyone reading this
should ever find me
wandering aimlessly
in this fog of indifference
take my clammy hand
and drop me off
at lost and found
Do not be deterred
by my temporary ingratitude
Tis just a phase
Someday
when I am
re engaged with the world
I will find you
and shower appreciation
in your direction
Perhaps I can even
return the favor
should you ever drift
