The news exploded like a bomb
Blowing our best laid plans away
Hitting us before we were ready
The future arrived early today
Now we find ourselves in hysteria
Everybody running around
Scared little rabbits ducking for cover
Seeking out any solace that can be found
Absorption will take some time
to soak up and analyze
the impact yet to be determined,
as we commence to rationalize
why we were not better
prepared
and which convenient scapegoat to blame
All
the usual asses will be properly covered
For in the end, coverage is the name of the game
