Like a persistent gray cloud
this mystifying problem hangs over me
like a confounding fog
Every alternative carefully weighed
Best guess scenarios tried
In all directions logic is applied
But the equation
is hopelessly fractured
Every variable non cooperative
Nothing seems to tie out neatly
After endless calculations
our learned conclusion
is this practical epiphany:
Not every mystery has a solution
even when you have all the clues
Life more often than not
