Culture Clubbing 
The man 
once in demand

 so much a major
celebrity

 flavor of the month

 as deemed by
tabloid society

fell from grace
in the blink of an eye

 we all saw the
demise coming
said the spider
to the fly

so it goes
so it goes

fame is fleeting
in our microwave
menagerie

 so it goes

 NEXT VICTIM

    Love it. Especially with "Next victim" capitalised at the end.
    and I love the alliteration in 'fame is fleeting'.

    I just love this piece in its entirety.

    I confess to not being well versed in Cyrus, but I feel kind of bad for her. She was prepackaged and marketed like a plastic doll by Disney when she was child. Now she has broken free of that fake image and is rebelling like many young repressed girls do when they get a taste of freedom. In college I saw (and benefited) from many a young lassie who was went crazy after escaping restrictive Catholic school education.
    The whole virtuously packaged teen star girls gone wild does seem like a recurring theme.
    That's why I closed the poem with NEXT VICTIM
