The crowd gathers by the
river bank
For today’s big televised event
Copters buzz round the scene
To witness the descent
They’re blowing up the bridge
today
That span no longer in demand
A relic from simpler times
When people wanted to be
together
That's sadly beautiful, sad being what's happening, beautiful being the short piece.
ReplyDeleteIt kinda reminds me of this whole internet and smartphones thing where people have a ton of connections and friends but only communicate by typing on a keyboard.
