What if
There is no Heaven?
no afterlife depository
for the martyrs and saints
who buy into the program
What if
there is no Hell?
no fire and brimstone abyss
for the sinners and killers
on God's naughty list
What if
there is no salvation?
no payoff
for our struggles
on this Earth
All we get
is this
solitary
ordinary
fleeting life
SHIT!! (sigh)
