Medal Heads
You too
can be
a hero of
heroic deeds
Doer of brave
and noble things
Not as hard
as it may seem
Courage is not only
running into a fire
to save a stranger
Courage is
staring down
the demons
of your past
and
conquering them
Doing your duty
for your family
It can take guts
to be
a responsible adult

I like the piece but I don't - entirely - see it's relation to the title. Probably because I'm part "metal head" and because many of my friends are too.
ReplyDeleteUnless you mean "metal head" as a 'thick' and 'stubborn' person... that's a different story.
The medal was a reference to a medal one receives for heroic and/or brave actions.. The medals being handed out at the Olympics was the inspiration
