Spaced Over and Out

Spaced Over and Out

We be
space crusaders

modern day
Magellans

seeking fame
and glory

exploring
dots on
the map

galactic currents
funnel us through

a cosmic crease

black hole
short cut

small
crack

in the
fabric of the
Universe

our craft
tumbles
through

we emerge out
the other side

in an alternate
dimension

cosmic detention

in a starless void

black on black

our instruments
confess

we are
never coming
back

  1. Oh, this has a darkness to it, Steve. Sometimes moving on is our only option...

  2. I do so agree with you though tis usually(not always) better if we have a say in when we move on

  3. Oh, I wish...so many times I've had to move on in my life with little warning or preparation.

    1. And some will escape their everyday life and they are already gone except no one knows. Whole poem , sad and revealing sometimes we know what we can't or won't say.
