Jingle And Jangled

Jingle And Jangled

Late one warm Summer’s night
Sleeping with windows open

I hear the soft melody
Of wind chimes in the distance

Random notes being played,
Partners with the breeze

So very symbolic
In a metaphoric way

Fate is the wind,
We are the music

At that moment I recall
How much I HATE wind chimes!

  1. There I was moving smoothly with the poem until you recall "How much [You} HATE wind chimes!" lol
    It made me smile.
Also the "so very symbolic/in a metaphoric way" was rather hilarious :D

  2. Blame my neighbor across the street who has a symphony of wind chimes that has awakened me many a Summer's eve when a warm gust blows through
